WELLS, ME– Freshman, Kiara Audette (Kittery, ME), was named Yankee Small College Conference Runner of the Week after an outstanding performance in her first collegiate race at Vermont Tech over the weekend. She was the top Yankee Small College Conference runner and finished 18th place overall against the remaining NCAA Division III runners. Kiara finished a challenging course in Vermont with a 5K time of 21:53.31.
Kiara is a first-year student at York County Community College and is majoring in Behavioral Health Studies with aspirations of being a psychologist. She is a 2021 graduate of Robert W. Traip Academy in Kittery, Maine, a National Honor Society student, and graduated summa cum laude. She was a three-time all-conference athlete and was named MVP two years in a row. In her spare time, Kiara loves drawing, painting, and sewing.
