Peer to Supervisor Training
No-Cost Training Opportunity
This 2-part series will be the foundation to your journey into leadership.
In the first 4 hour session, you will explore the transition from being an individual contributor to supervising or managing. Topics will include:
- Communication and active listening
- Setting boundaries
- Emotional intelligence
- Defining expectation and delegation
The second 4-hour session will introduce you to building your leadership brand. Topics include:
- Coaching and giving actionable effective feedback
- Decision making and problem solving
- Your Leadership Identity and reinforcing expectations.

Eligibility Requirements
Maine Resident
High school diploma or equivalent
At least 18+ before the start of the training -
In this training you will learn how to:
1. Identify challenges in transitioning to a leadership role
2. Learn different communication styles and tactics
3. Set boundaries
4. Coaching and communication skills
5. Begin to consider what kind of leader you want to be
6. Create an action plan for your leadership development
