York County Community College (YCCC) is pleased to welcome Michael McNeil to the YCCC team as Director of Institutional Operations.

Prior to accepting this position, Mike served as the Coordinator of Campus Technology and Interim Operations Supervisor at Great Bay Community College (GBCC). Mike has over 20 years of experience in the Community College System of New Hampshire, and he has spearheaded several major projects including a campus-wide print solution that served as a model for other CCSNH campuses. He has also been instrumental in organizing major events at GBCC including graduation, academic department and student organization celebrations, and the annual Distinguished Leaders fundraiser, just to name a few. Mike was also a founding member of the college’s safety committee, which evolved into the Emergency Preparedness Committee. He has maintained his training in First Aid and CPR, and he has served as a campus first responder throughout his tenure at GBCC.

Mike has over 25 years of experience as a professional musician and audio engineer, and he was instrumental in developing what is now the Digital Media Technology program at Great Bay. He has been recognized for excellence both academically and professionally. He is the recipient of the President’s Award for Special Contributions, the Chancellor’s Award for Service Excellence, and Outstanding Alumni Award.

In his spare time, Mike enjoys playing drums, riding his Harley Davidson and spending time with his wife Meg, their German Shepherd Dave, and their cat Blue.
