The York County Community College Foundation (YCCCF) continues its commitment to making college affordable for students, thanks to the sustained generosity of the Roger K. Williams Foundation.

Last semester, 44 students received last dollar scholarships, all funded by the Roger K. Williams Foundation, with an average award of $398. The Foundation was able to award a total of $16,908 in financial support and anticipates awarding an additional $20,000-$30,000 for spring and summer students with a goal of assisting 150 students this academic year.

“We are so grateful for the continued support and trust that the Roger K. Williams Foundation has placed in us to honor Roger’s legacy,” said Tracey Cornell, Dean of Innovation and Advancement. “The scholarships awarded to our students ensures that finances will not prevent students from completing a degree and pursuing a career they love.”

Thank you to the Roger K. Williams Foundation and our generous donors for helping us make college more accessible and affordable for YCCC students!
